First Shaykh (The Teacher of Ilme Marifat): Ambar Ali Shah (RA.)
The first Shaykh of Imamut Tariqat is Ambar Ali Shah (Rh.) known as Mazzub Phir of the district of Comilla. His holy mausoleum is situated in the east of Chawkbazar in the district of Comilla. The Second Shaykh (The Teacher of Ilme Marifat): Abu Bakar Siddiqi Furfuravi (RA.)
The Second Shaykh of Imamut Tariqat was Ala Hazrat Abu Bakar Siddiqi Furfuravi (RA.) of Furfura Sharif who had been able to spiritually know Imamut Tariqat as a Wali (saint) of high rank. Therefore, with the help of two persons, he invited Imamut Tariqat to one of his Mahfils.Accordingly, when a mahfil of Abu Bakar Siddiqi (RA) was going on, Imamut Tariqat became present. The Shaykh (The Teacher of Ilme Marifat) told the other attendees to make a smooth passage for Imamut Tariqat and make him sit close to him on the stage. Then the Shaykh provided him Khilafat in the presence of his two noted Khilafas (representative)- Mawlana Neser Uddin Ahmad (RA), founder of Sarsina Sharif and Mawlana Muhammad Ruhul Amin Bashirhati (RA) of Chabbis Pargana.
The Third Shaykh: Abdur Rob Jaunpuri (RA)
The third Shaykh of Imamut Tarikqat was Abdur Rob Jaunpuri (RA), son of noted religious personality of Jaunpur Khandan- Hafiz Ahmad Jaunpuri (RA). He, too, provided Khelafat to Al-Hajj Doctor Badiuzzaman (RA).Achieving the Responsibility
of Tariqa-e Madinar Jamaat, the newest tariqa
Imamut Tariqa Al-Ghawth Dr. Muhammad Badiuzzaman (r.a.) met the then “Mazzub” Qutub Shaykh Sufi 'Ambar 'Ali Shah (r.a.) during his student days near the city of Comilla. One night, he bestowed the Imam (Dr. Muhammad Badiuzzaman) the Ettehadi Faiz and Tawajjuh of 'Ilm-e Belayat by feeding him a bite. After taking the food, the Imam got immersed in Eshke Elahi and fainted in “Mazzub” state. The Shaykh took him to the forest of Arakan in that state. There, the Imam got the spiritual companionship and grace of many Awliya Kirams (respected saints) and gradually progressed to the highest peak of Tariqa.During this time, he also met Hazrat Khizir 'Alaihis Salam. He spent three and a half years in a state of unconsciousness. Later he came to his birth place and spent thirty years in Muraqabah-Mujahadah (Meditation & pursuit). He accomplished the Muraqabah of Durood-e- Ummi Sharif' for fifteen consecutive years. Consequently, he obtained the luminous Deedar (visibility) of Allah and His Messenger ﷺ, their satisfaction and Kurbat (Proximity). Later, once he received an invitation from Rahmatullil A-lamin ﷺ through Khwaja Khizir Alaihis Salaam to visit Madinah Munawara. The Imam intended to perform Hajj as soon as he received the invitation. Later, by the grace of Allah, arrangements were made for the expenses of Hajj. After Hajj-e- Baitullah, his pilgrimage to Madinah Sharif becomes real. One night during his stay in Madinah, he received the Noorani Didar (luminous visibility) and Ettehadi Waisi Faiz of Allah's Habib ﷺ . For the salvation of the ummah in the age of sedition, he received a brief Ettehadi tawajjuh-based tariqa containing the complete attainment of knowledge of 'Ilm-E- Belayat.

Instructions
One: One command and instruction01. The first and foremost requirement is faith. The first condition of authentic faith is to believe in the heart that Allah is One, Unique, Incomparable, without any partner. The way he describes himself is the description that applies to him. He cannot be understood by the intellect; He cannot be seen by the external eye, His existence cannot be expressed in any language. When? How? Where? All these questions are irrelevant in his case. He is beyond time. He is the root of the existence of everything and not comparable to His own being. Therefore, His own attributes, too, are not comparable to the attributes of anything else or anyone. It is the duty of every muballigh to believe, understand and bear witness to hand, face, sight, movement, vision, hearing, speech, soul - all that is described in the Qur'an-Hadith about Allah.02.The Holy Qur'an is the original word of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, not created matter.03.Every muballigh will bear witness that there will be a clear meeting with Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala in Paradise as described in the hadith.04. It is the duty of every preacher (muballigh) to believe in Paradise, Hell, Lawhe Mahfuz (Well-preserved tablet) , Pen, Hauze Kawsar (a fountain or river in paradise), Arsh (over which Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala rose in a manner that befits His Majesty), Kursi (throne of Allah), Pulsirat (The bridge over Hell), Batkhara ( Scale of a balance), blowing the trumpet, Punishment of the Grave, Intercession, Question-answer session by Mankir and Nakir, Intercession by Allah's permission for those cast into Hell , eternal existence of Paradise and Hell and a permanent residence of the disbelievers at Hell. They will also believe in and preach that Allah will at one time or another forgive all the sins of the Muslims except shirk (sharing Allah’s attributes with anyone) and will free them from hell and give them access to paradise. Those who do not yet have full knowledge about all these things should believe strongly and try to improve spiritually. InshaAllah they will also gain the ability to testify about all these things by seeing with the eyes of knowledge - they will achieve marifat (knowledge of spiritual truth).05. Prophets and Messengers are higher than the angels and among them Muhammad Mustafa sallallaahu alayhi wasallam is the greatest prophet, and the best human beings after the Messengers are Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (RA), Umar Farooq (RA), Uthman (RA) and Ali (RA) respectively. Then comes the position of the remaining six sahabi out of ten whom Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) informed about the Paradise. Then respectively comes the position of the holy Ajwaj (wives) of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam, Ahl al-Bayt, Sahabi and their followers Tabei, Tabe-Tabei- the follower of Tabei and spiritually gifted saints.06. Fully knowledgeable people are those whom Allah has endowed with both overt and covert knowledge. They are the true scholars and the inheritors of the Messenger Muhammad (S.M). They are the true wali of Allah.07. In spite of acquiring internal knowledge(Spiritual excellence), if one does not acquire complete knowledge of the book (knowledge of Shari'ah), then one can be the successor of the prophet Muhammad (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) and be the wali of Allah, if he acquires the basic knowledge of the Shari'ah. It is therefore obligatory for every muballigh to acquire the basic knowledge of the Shari'ah. 08. Allah has classified the people of external and internal knowledge: the Siddiq' (Siddiqeen) belong to the highest class, then the Martyrs (Suhada'a) and then the Saliheen. The Saliheen are categorised into two: the Arefun (those who have acquired inner knowledge) and the Mubidun (those who have progressed on the path of Tariqat with the intention of knowing Allah). I classify Muballegin (preacher) in the 'arefun group.09. It is the duty of every preacher to declare iman (faith) by mouth, believe from the heart and practise the main organs of Islam. He who is unwilling or unable to declare Iman is a disbeliever. He who declares without believing in his heart is a hypocrite. He who does not practise the organs of Islam is a sinner and he who follows other than the rites of the Prophet ﷺ is a person who does bid’ah.10. It is the very duty of every preacher to know the rules of Islam to conform them according to the instruction of Islam. It is necessary to know the principles of Iman, S’alat, Fasting, Hajj and Zakat and act accordingly.11. It is necessary to have the knowledge of taharat i.e. to be clean and to try to be in a state with ablution as far as possible.12. Appearance and dress should be in accordance with the Sunnah. Beard should be kept, moustache should be shortened, tight clothes should be abandoned; the pyjama, kurta or lungi will hang up to the ankles. Wearing silk is prohibited. Smoking is also prohibited.13. It is obligatory to make Halal livelihood and refrain from Haram earning.14. One should try to follow this principle of eating halal and not eating haram. Haram food destroys the spiritual light. If one eats haram food for the sake of preaching, due to circumstances and out of ignorance, then the muballigh himself will understand the situation and immediately recite istighfar, cry to Allah and send blessings on the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), until the veil of impurity is removed from the soul.15. Whatever you do, do it for the satisfaction of Allah, not for your own selfishness. It should be remembered that people do not go to heaven or hell for their own actions, but for the intention of doing that work. The first hadith of Bukhari Sharif is “Innamal A’malu Binniyat '' which means surely the action depends on the intention.16. So it is the duty of every muballigh to check his intentions and understand how far he loves for the sake of Allah or hates for the sake of Allah. (Al Hubbay Fillah and Al Bogjah Fillah.)17. One should check one's intentions and instruct one to do good deeds or to stay away from evil deeds. (Al Amr Bil Ma'ruf wa Nahi Anil Munkar.)18. Do not engage in bahas (argument or conflict) in matters of religion.19. Every Muballigh should recite the Qur'an Sharif or Tajbeed and read at least one Ruku (a small section that is grouped up based on the meaning of the ayat that are grouped) daily.20. It must be remembered that Shari'ah is the foundation of Islam. Among these Shari'ah interpreters(ulama), the highest class of ulama are the fuqaha whose interpretations have been accepted by the Muslim community. Four of them have been given priority in the names of the four madhhabs (a school of thought within fiqh) Hanafi, Maleki, Shafi'i and Hanbali. It is forbidden to engage in arguments about the discrimination of the laws of these madhhabs. All are based on interpretations of the actions or sayings of the Messenger Muhammad (may Allah bless him and grant him peace). So it is against our policy to ignore any madhhab or to speak against them or act against them. Even if a scholar is experienced in the Qur'an and Hadith and gives an explanation of the Shari'ah with full experience in pure mind, one will not engage in controversy with him. It is the duty of that experienced scholar to follow any one of the four madhhabs. Although the Muballegin have attained a fairly high path of knowledge, they are instructed to follow one of the four madhhabs mentioned above.21. If you want to gain knowledge about the Qur'an, Hadith and Fiqh, I instruct you to go to the scholars who are experienced in this matter to gain knowledge. But I prefer going to a Sufi scholar.22. To know about Tasawwuf talk to a truly wise Sufi. But the first and foremost duty will be to discuss with me and in my absence my representative Syed Ali Ashraf, Ameer of Madina Jamaat. As per the instructions of the Ameer, anything can be discussed with any other Sufi. However, I have no objection to going to the Mahfil of the famous Saints and paying homage to them and seeking their company and taking supplications. 23. If one wants to better understand one's inner state, ahwal and moqamat or if he faces any obstacles, illusions and defilements in the way of his suluk and if he does not find me or Ali Ashraf Sahib near, then he can discuss with any other muballeg in whom he has faith and devotion. He can take his help or sit with him in muraqaba. Every Muballeg is instructed to help another muballigh immediately if he is in danger or asks for his help.24. The aim of Muballeghin is to suppress the nafs (literally means “self”), resist the nafs, conquer the evil, achieve spiritual advancement and gain nearness to Allah and the favour and affection of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace). Therefore, it is a duty to know in detail the principles of speech, sight, hearing, movement, dress, behaviour towards each other, respect for elders, love for equals, kindness to children and service to all, and their manners accordingly. It is necessary to fix manners accordingly. For this I think it is important to read "Beheshti Jeor" by Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi Sahib. It is also necessary to read 'Guniyatuttalebeen' (both volumes) by Hazrat Ghowsul Azam Abdul Qader Jilani (RA). Those who know Arabic, Persian or English must read the book "Kitab Adab-al Murideen" by Hazrat Shahabuddin Suhrawardi Rahmatullahi Alaihi. Those who know Urdu must read “Adabe Zindighi” written by Maulana Muhammad Yusuf Islami Sahib and try to improve their manners accordingly.25. The Muballegins follow the Tariqat-style. Since spiritual growth is important for them, they need to read the following books and know how to teach themselves to follow this path. There is some original discussion about this in the last part of Bara Pir Sahib's (Abdul qadir jilani) “Guniyatettalebeen” (Part 2). It needs to be read. "Ziaul Kulub" book by Maulana Haji Imdadullah Muhajer Makki Rahmatullahi Alaihi, "Anisuttalebeen" (Volume V) by Maulana Mohammad Abdur Rahman Rahmatullahi Alaihi, "Ershad E Khaleqiyya" by Maulabi Mohammad Abdul Karim Rahmatullahi Alaihi, Maulana Keramat Ali Rahmat Allah's 'Jadut Taqwa' And 'Noorun Ala Noor' and Barapir Sahib's "Fathuul Ghaib" will help. But Suluk by following what I have taught can learn the rules mainly from “Anisuttalebin” and “Cherajus Salekin” Admonitions: two; Some important guidance26. Every Muballigh will pray two rakats of Ashrak and two rakats of Istekhara after the Fajr prayer and after sunrise when the red color of the sky disappears. After Surah Fateha in each rak'ah of Ashraq prayer, recite Surah Ikhlas five times with Bismillah. In Istekhara prayer, after Surah Fatiha, recite Surah Kafirun in the first rak'ah and Surah Ikhlas in the second rak'ah once. After returning the salam, pray with the supplication of Istekhara.27. It is especially important to pray 12 rakats in two rakats of Tahajjud last night. If due to any reason one wakes up late then one should try to perform at least four rakat prayers. Generally: It is possible to recite with any surah. But you can read according to Barapir Saheb's rules. After Surah Fatiha in the first rak'ah, Surah Ikhlas twice in the second rak'ah, increasing like this: 12 times in the twelfth rak'ah. Then you have to pray the Bitor prayer.28. Every Muballigh should perform six rakats of Salaatul Awwabeen in two rakats after the Maghrib prayer. Surah Ikhlas should be recited three times after Surah Fateha in every Rakat. Awabeen should not be performed while Jamaat becomes present without the order of the Ameer.29. Every day at least after Fajr and Maghrib prayers, Hadiya and Swab Reshani should be done. Maulana Manchur Sahib has published a small booklet about the rules that I have taught. It was given to every Muballigh. The one who can recite this Hadiya and perform Swab Reshani five times will be especially benefited.30. For spiritual progress, I specially ask every muballigh to recite a lot of Istighfar and Darood daily and perform Moraqaba regularly.
